Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CosyCozy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. CosyCozy reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

CosyCozy is a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables users to generate AI-powered images and videos using advanced machine learning models. The Service is a digital product β€” all outputs are generated in the cloud and delivered digitally through the platform.

CosyCozy does not sell physical goods, consulting services, or outsourcing development of any kind.

3. Account Registration & Eligibility

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to register. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Credits, Subscriptions & Billing

CosyCozy operates on a credit-based system. Credits are used to generate AI images and videos. Credits can be obtained through monthly subscriptions or one-time credit pack purchases.

Monthly subscription credits are allocated at the beginning of each billing cycle and do not carry over to subsequent periods. One-time credit pack purchases do not expire. Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. All payments are processed by Gumroad, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate illegal, harmful, defamatory, or obscene content
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of third parties
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service
  • Resell or redistribute generated content for commercial AI training purposes
  • Generate deepfake content intended to deceive or harm individuals

CosyCozy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you generate using CosyCozy, subject to the terms and policies of the underlying AI model providers (Google and BytePlus). CosyCozy does not claim ownership over your generated content. However, the CosyCozy platform, its design, code, branding, and all associated intellectual property remain the exclusive property of CosyCozy.

7. Termination & Suspension

CosyCozy may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that CosyCozy determines, in its sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service or other users. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, any unused credits will be forfeited.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. COSYCOZY DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CosyCozy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
